A life coach, entrepreneur and a former corporate business professional, he is dedicated to pursuing excellence and authenticity in every walk of life, educated at the Norwegian School of Economics, San Diego State University, and University of Oxford.

The pandemic catapulted him into a deep spiritual sojourn, which prompted Abisherk to leave behind the “glitz and glamour” of corporate business life. This period of introspection and exploration was not just a break from routine, but a quest for truth that took him on a transformative journey across the globe. 

His pilgrimages led him to the Glastonbury Tor and Stonehenge, to Vezelay and Isle of Avalon. He traversed the mystical Pyrenees, and sought sanctuary in the depths of Bugarach and Lourdes. His pilgrimage stretched from the Gates of Hercules, to the vortex of Es Vedra, from Montserrat's Angelic Towers to Rocamadour's devout serenity. This journey eventually guided him to the southern tip of India, from the Arabian Sea to the Bay of Bengal, from the towering peaks of the Western Ghats to the tip of Rameswaram,  all the way to the holy waters of Tiruchi, and the sacred fires of Arunachalam , where he embraced the way of his ancestors and was again initiated into ancient lineages of hatha, kriya and bhakti yoga.

A lineage from Sri Lanka naturally imbibed Abisherk with Yogic practices early on. Born and raised among the fjords and mountains of Norway naturally ingrained him with deep roots to this land and its spirits.
